How did you get to where you are today?
Like you, every member of our team took a unique path. Dan Michels, VP of Operations, started with Hurricane Boat Lifts in February of 2022 after working in the automotive industry. When he discovered an opportunity to lead the growth of a strong brand in the marine industry, he ran with it.
As the VP of Operations, Dan’s oversight extends to every area of operations, including manufacturing, purchasing, shipping, and more. His manufacturing experience within the automotive industry has carried over to raise quality standards and help HBL exceed client expectations.
Dan’s favorite part of his job is “seeing projects come together successfully.” Dan credits the team’s success to their dedication to serving customers. “The biggest strength of our internal management team is the commitment to exceeding our customers’ expectations.” Dan also says that what makes the HBL team special is “the ability to get along and work through issues together, supporting each other as needed to complete the task.”
When not at work, Dan enjoys playing tennis and biking.
